...second coat of bottom paint done...a little left for the waterline tomorrow...then finish up the outdrive and back in the water...

DIY composting head finally in place...

the new composting head installed where the Lavac used to be...no more pump-out drama...

...hauled out in Indiantown....

....successful haul out at Indiantown before the rains began...the projects continue...😸

composting chronicles...

...after years of using a Lavac toilet with a holding tank aboard Gracie...it's time to try using a composting/desiccating toilet...eliminating the toilet, holding tank, the 1 1/2" thru-hull, and lots of nasty hose...

...gluing up the plywood box...

fitting up the lid and toilet seat...

...installed in head area for "operations" check
 and any mods before final painting and install...

...so far have about $100 in materials and around $1000 in labor...  : )

...presently at Indiantown marina for hurricane season and haulout for bottom paint at the end of October...this is a test post sent by email...
