Our resident owl, "Ya Hootie", is telling us that we should begin provisioning the boat while wrapping up the final projects.

Lots of dried and canned goods jumped into carrying bags for their journey to Gracie.    Many  dried bean varieties for soups and humus for the next few months.

Lots of different pastas plus quantities of  yeast and whole wheat and white flour for baking
homemade real bread.  Some honey to get us by until we get to La Belle, Florida on the Okachobee Waterway to purchase directly from the local bee keepers.

And of course the stash of the necessary commodities.

Couldn't forget what every home, even a traveling home needs . . .

Real growing, green useful plants  Some aloe for skin ravished by nature.  Fresh basil for tasty meals and peppermint for teas and garnish.

Now that the provisioning is well underway, the other end of the food cycle must be in good operating order. So, the head has undergone a rejuvenation and is working great!

A bit of relaxation before finishing a couple of important sewing projects that are
necessary for the boat.

        . . . Till next time . . .

Returned to the St. Lucie lock campground dock and riding bicycles for transportation.

to use as fishing rod holders.

At long last, this blog that has been spoken of
for the past couple of months is about to begin.
The first week of 2016 seemed like a good time
for creation. While docked at the Corp of
Engineer St. Lucie Lock on the Okachobee
Waterway, we chose to begin the new year at a
different location.

Here we are at Peck Lack for a few days with no projects.
Dropping anchor to celebrate the new year, 2016!!!!!

Rum drinks and JUMBO SHRIMP for New Year's Eve.

New Year's day brought us a hitch hiker on the boat in his own little hammock.

Spent the day walking
the Atlantic beach and
gathering seashells.

As the first day of the year comes to a close we know WEBEJAMMIN with a special bottle of Southern Florida grown muskadine wine.

A bit of successful fishing

and the call for a beautiful sunset

brings this short adventure to a close as we are leaving tomorrow when the chilly weather comes to Peck Lake.

Till next time!
